- Second situation (fig. 18 and photo 19)
Machine attached to the front of the tractor.
Tractor PTO speed : 540 rpm
Direction of tractor PTO rotation : counter-clockwise (when facing the PTO end)
In this case, the 2-speed gearbox is not to be used.
Proceed as follows to detach gearbox :
- Take off guard cone (H) and its support by unscrewing the 2 wing nuts (E) (photo 17).
- Remove linch pin (G) (photo 17) and detach gearbox.
- Bolt guard cone assembly (H) on the 2 welded nuts (S) (photo 17) with the 2 wing nuts (E) (photo 19).
- Third situation (fig. 20)
Machine attached to the front or the rear of tractor
Tractor PTO speed : 1000 rpm
Direction of tractor PTO rotation : clockwise (when
facing the PTO end)
- Take off gearbox after first removing linch pin (G)
(photo 17).
- Remove the gearbox input shaft and reinstall it in the
other splined hub (see fig. 20).
- Slide gearbox back in place.
