2. Adjustments in working position
„ Working depth
Adjusting the working depth with skids and parking
stand:
The working depth is set by the skid height:
- Lift the machine slightly off the ground.
- Check that parking stand is in upper position (1).
- Loosen screw (2).
- Remove screw (3).
- Position skid in hole corresponding to the required
adjustment.
- Reinstall screw (3).
- Tighten bolts (2).
• Torque: 21daN m (155 lbf ft)
The EL42 is supplied as standard with one of the
following depth control equipment:
- a pair of skids and a parking stand.
- Wheels diameter 190 mm (7.5’’).
- Wheels diameter 250 mm (10’’).
Relations between the working depth and the
skid position:
Position a = 50 mm (2’’).
Position b = 150 mm (6’’).
