Solution
The Dry Fryer does
not turn on?
• Please check that the power cord is plugged into the outlet
correctly and switched on.
• Check there is power to the outlet by testing with another
product.
The halogen element
on the Dry Fryer
suddenly switches off?
• The Dry Fryer intermittently switches off (after about 6-7
minutes for 1-2 minutes) as the thermostat regulates the
temperature. This is not a product fault.
How do I pause
cooking?
• Open the lid of the Dry Fryer to pause cooking (please note that
the timer will not stop, only the heating operation will).
How do I turn off the
Dry Fryer?
• To switch off, press the ON/OFF button and hold down for 5
seconds.
How do I stop the Dry
Fryer from mashing
my food?
• Please ensure you do not exceed the recommended food
quantities as listed in the user manual.
• If making home-made chips, it is best to use floury potato
types, eg. Kennebec, King Edward, Golden Delight or Sebago.
• We recommend you use thicker cut chips, shoestring fries can
get caught in the mixing arm.
Can I clean all
removable parts in
the dishwasher?
• Yes, all can be placed in the dishwasher apart from the main
unit.
Why does the Dry
Fryer motor produce
an unpleasant smell
during operation?
• It is very common for a new appliance to give off an unpleasant
smell or emit some smoke the first few times it is used. This will
cease with further use.
The pot does not
rotate properly or
makes excessive
noise during use?
• Make sure that the rotating ring is fitted the right way up. Two
of the wheel axles are stamped with the word “UP”. This must
face upwards when the ring is correctly fitted.
