OPERATING THE ATTACHMENT

WARNING:

To avoid personal injury or death:

Do  not  attempt  to  lift  bucket  loads  in  excess  of
the Rated Operating Load.

Before raising the bucket to full height, make sure
the  tractor  is  on  level  ground.    If  not,  it  may  tip
over, even if the tractor is not moving.

HANDLING LARGE HEAVY OBJECTS

DANGER:

To avoid serious personal injury or death:

Handling

large,

heavy

objects

can

be

dangerous due to:
(A)  Danger of rolling the tractor over.
(B)  Danger of upending the tractor.
(C)  Danger  of  the  object  rolling  or  sliding

down the loader boom onto the operator.

If  you  must  perform  the  above  work,  protect
yourself by :
(A)  Not lifting the load  higher than  necessary

to clear the ground when moving.

(B)  Ensuring  the  approved  counter  weight  is

fitted.

(C)  Not  lifting  large  objects  with  equipment

that  does  not  have  an  anti-rollback
device.

(D)  Moving slowly and carefully.
(E)  Avoiding rough terrain.
(F)  Keeping  transport  distance  as  short  as

possible  and  carry  the  load  as  low  as
possible during transport.

(G)  Ensuring  that  the  ROL  for  the  given

attachment is not exceeded.

4IN1 BUCKET

4in1 Bucket Uses

The 4in1 bucket is a multipurpose bucket designed for
the following functions:

1.

Plain bucket

2.

Scraper / levelling bucket

3.

Blade

4.

Grab

IMPORTANT:

The  bucket,  loader  or  tractor  can  become
damaged when completing jobs other than those
listed  above.  Applying  excessive  loads  beyond
the  design  intent  may  also  damage  the  bucket,
loader or the tractor.

The  following  information  provides  additional  guidelines
specifically for the 4in1 bucket. General advice on safety of
the

Front End Loader is given elsewhere in this operator’s

manual.

1.

ROL is reduced when operating the loader with a 4in1
bucket  fitted.  Refer  to  the  ROL  Table  for  specific
details.

2.

In bucket operation, use the 4in1 for picking up loose
material, soft soil, gravel, etc.

3.

In  scraper  and  blade  operation,  use  the  4in1  for
finishing work on loose ground.

4.

In grab operation, use the 4in1 to pick up and grapple
non-fixed  objects.  Apply  even  force  to  both  sides  of
the  bucket  and  loader  by  centralising  loads  in  the
bucket.

IMPORTANT:

Since  the  4in1  is  designed  to  grab  and  hold  a  load,
there  is  no  pressure  relief  in  the  bucket  hydraulic
circuit  lower  than  tractor  pressure.  This  may  be
enough  to  bend  the  front  edge  of  the  bucket  if  full
closing force is applied to  small diameter hard object
such as a post or stump.

CAUTION:

To avoid serious personal injury or machine damage:

Avoid  using  the  bucket  to  break  up  or  dig  in
compacted or heavily rock strewn soils

Do  not  grab  objects  on  one  side  of  the  bucket
only  as  this  may  result  in  rollover,  or  bending  of
the jaw.

Do not pull objects embedded in the ground such
as stumps or posts.

Do not scrape or blade at speeds above 5km/h

Only  engage  the  bucket  with  the  ground  when
travelling at low speed (less than 5km/h).

Do not use the 4in1 or loader as a lifting jib, or for
lifting with chain, rope or slings.

4in1 Bucket Operation

1.

Connect the 4in1 bucket to the loader as  specified  in
the “Attaching Attachments” section of this manual.

2.

Connect  the  3

rd

  function  hydraulic  connectors  as

specified  in  the

“Front  Remote  Hydraulic  Control

System”

 section of this manual.

3.

(1) Press and hold the (A) button on the joystick to

close the bucket.

(2) Press and hold the (B) button on the joystick to

open the bucket.

4.

If  the  bucket  operates  in  reverse  direction  to  above,
check and swap the hydraulic couplers over.
