9 PREPARING FOR USE

New tires have reduced road grip.

The contact surface on new tires is not yet roughened.

Run in new tires with moderate riding at alternating angles.
Running-in phase

When using the vehicle, remember that others may feel disturbed by excessive noise.

Ensure that the pre-delivery inspection work has been carried out by an authorized KTM workshop.

The delivery certificate and the Service and Manufacturer Warranty Booklet must be transferred with the
vehicle.

–

Read the entire Owner's Manual before riding for the first time.

–

Get to know the controls.

–

Get used to handling the motorcycle in a suitable area before undertaking a more demanding ride. Also, ride
as slowly as possible to get a better feeling for the motorcycle.

–

Hold the handlebar firmly with both hands and keep your feet on the footrests when riding.

–
