Spring preload

A

is the difference in length between the spring pack when it is

unloaded and when it is installed.
The spring pack should never be installed loosely (without preload). The comfort
setting is the lowest permissible spring preload.
If you increase the spring preload, you should also slightly increase the rebound
damping.
The left and right shock absorbers should have the same settings.
