Ensure that the cables can be neither kinked nor pinched.

NOTE:

Connectors

are closed off with blind caps when delivered and

are only used when the heated PowerParts passenger seat (60307947000)

is installed.

is used to connect the switch for the passenger seat.

Final steps

- Mount the storage compartment lid

- Mount the luggage rack plate

- Mount the driver’s seat and the passenger seat.

- Perform the function test of the seat heating.

- Mount the headlight and windshield.

- Mount the inside cover

Malfunctions

If the power supply drops below 12 V, the switch begins to flash and the seat heating is deactivated.
If the switch does not light up when the ignition is switched on, this can have the following reasons:

- The power supply polarity is reversed

- The relay is faulty

Functional description

The ignition is switched on:

The switch lights up orange:

The seat heating is on standby

The switch is pressed for the first time:

The switch lights up green:

Low heating power

The switch is pressed a second time:

The switch lights up red:

High heating power

The switch is pressed a third time:

The switch lights up orange again:

The seat heating is on standby again

ACC1

is permanent positive and protected with a 10 A fuse.

ACC2

is connected via the ignition and protected with a 1 A fuse.
