Riotec / Riotec Z
– Close the vent screw again after 15 – 30 seconds,
– Switch on pump,
– Open the blocking mechanism once again.
Depending on the intensity of the ope-
rating pressure, the pump is liable to
block when the screw plug is open.
Depending on the operating condition of
the pump and/or installation (fluid tempe-
rature) the entire pump can become very
hot.
Avoid touching the pump owing to the
risk of burning.
Under permissible operating conditi-
ons the temperature at the heat sink
can reach up to 70 °C.
ATTENTION!
7. Service
Should the top of the motor become
separated from the pump housing
during service or repair work, the O-
ring situated between the split pot and
the pump housing must be replaced
with a new one. When assembling the
top of the motor, care must be taken
that the O-ring is positioned correctly.
ATTENTION!
8. Problems, Causes and
Solutions
For Problems, Causes and Solutions see
Table I
.
The first column in the table lists the code numbers
which appear on the display in the event of an error.
Fourth column – “Manual reset”: The majority of error
readings automatically disappear when the cause of
the error has been removed. The word “Yes” in the
6.2 Setting the pump power
The unit is set to a specific operating point (point of
maximum load, calculated maximum heating require-
ments). When starting up the unit, the pumping
capacity (pump lift) must be set according to the unit’s
operating point (see also 4.3).
The preset is does not correspond to the pumping
capacity required for the unit. It is calculated on the
basis of the characteristics diagram of the selected
pump (from the catalogue/data sheet).
