Forcing screw

Outer rotor

1. Protect the magnets in outer rotor 818.02 with a suitable non-metallic cover.

2. Remove hexagon socket head cap screw 914.08 and disc 550.08.

3. Pull outer rotor 818.02 off the shaft of motor 800 using a suitable forcing screw.

For this purpose screw forcing screw into the internal thread of the outer rotor.

7.4.4.4 Dismantling the leakage barrier - design with shaft seal ring

The notes and steps stated in (

Section 7.4.1, Page 51) to

(

Section 7.4.4.3, Page 54) have been observed and carried out.

The motor with the intermediate piece has been placed in a clean and level
assembly area.

The outer rotor has been removed and is kept in a clean and level, non-magnetic
workplace.

1. Undo hexagon socket head cap screws 914.01 and remove shaft seal 430.01.

2. Remove gasket 400.01.

3. Remove O-ring 412.97 from the groove of intermediate piece 132.03.

4. Remove O-ring 412.28 from threaded connecting element 905.

NOTE

Check shaft seal ring 420.97 and gasket 400.97 as well as contact surface of outer
rotor 818.02 for wear and replace if necessary.

7.4.5 Removing the containment shroud

7.4.5.1 Removing the containment shroud – metallic materials

The notes and steps stated in to (

Section 7.4.1, Page 51)

(

Section 7.4.4.4, Page 55) have been observed/carried out.

The parts are kept in a clean and level assembly area.
