Troubleshooting
Please follow the guidelines below if you are having issues with your Thermal-i profiler:
Fault
Description
Remedy
No Display
Low battery or power switch off
1) Turn power switch on
2) Charge battery
Socket exception
fault in Thermal-i
Viewer
The application has not received a
reply from the device
1) Check that the PC is connected via WiFi to the
correct Thermal-i network
2) Ensure that the device is in range
3) Ensure that the connection settings are correct
in the software (see Application Settings)
No video displayed
in Thermal-i Viewer
Connection cannot be established
with the Thermal-i camera
1) Ensure that the IP address and port settings are
correct for the camera (see Application Settings)
Thermal-i Viewer
will not load
The software has been corrupted or
the PC minimum requirements have
not been met
1) Ensure the minimum PC requirements are met
2) Uninstall then reinstall the software
Abnormal sensor
readings
Dirty or faulty sensor
1) If an external sensor, ensure that it is clean and
free from dirt
