REMOTE AND DEVICELOCK MODUS
The
CPD 14
is optimally adjusted at the factory - the epitome of "Plug and Play". However, it is
possible and sometimes required that you make your own settings using REMOTE software
according to the room acoustics, the program material or your personal taste and load them into
the
CPD 14
via the Ethernet connection. Of course, you can save all settings as a preset in the PC
and have the same initial conditions at next start up.
Another way to save your personal presets is to enable „DeviceLock“ mode in the KS REMOTE for
the
CPD 14
. As a result, the operation is disabled on the amplifier and the display is now much
darker. Your settings will be retained until you deactivate the „DeviceLock“ mode either by PC or by
simultaneously pressing the two "Level" buttons when switching on the
CPD 14
.
KEYLOCK
You can protect the settings on the
CPD 14
from changes by enabling the „KeyLock“. To do this,
press the MENU button for more than 3 seconds - the green indicator LED goes off. The activation
also takes place by holding it down for more than 3 seconds again.
MAINS SWITCH
In the "1" position, a 2-pole rocker switch labeled "mains" (Main Switch) connects the cables from
the PowerCon socket to the power supply. The
CPD 14
is ready to operate if, after a few seconds,
the numeric displays "88" change over to the normal state levels.
