4. Replace the bolt rubber buffer and bolt spring in that order. Screw the lock back on.
5. It is recommended to rinse the non-dismantled head-piece in petroleum or diesel oil.
Lightly oil the dry parts with machine oil. Always keep the rubber buffer free from oil.
6. Ensure that the gun is functioning correctly by placing the enclosed polishing stick (without the brush)
instead of the cartridge into the distance piece and releasing the bolt against the pressure of the spring.
The bolt must then jut out by about 75 mm from the lower end of the gun and jump all the way back
after releasing the pressure.
Possible Faults
The cartridge does not ignite
Bolt spring or bolt spring tip is damaged. Damaged part to be exchanged.
Bolt movement might also be inhibited by dirt. Carry out cleaning procedures.
The bolt does not strike deep enough
Check whether the correct cartridge charge has been used or whether perhaps the gun is heavily soiled
inside. Carry out cleaning procedures in case of the latter. The bolt should move easily backwards and
forwards following removal of the bolt spring and the rubber buffer. Incorrect positioning of the gun during
the shooting process may lead to misfire.
The bolt does not retract
The gun might have accidentally moved during shooting, and the bolt has embedded itself in the cranium
as a consequence.
Bolt spring and rubber buffer may be outworn. To be replaced by new spare parts.
Bolt spring and rubber buffer get worn down too soon
Usually caused by the fact that the cartridge charge is stronger than prescribed. This fault may also occur
when using unauthorised ammunition, ie ammunition not supplied by the manufacturer/distributor.
The bolt spring slackens when the rubber buffer has been strained.
The trigger no longer works
The release mechanism is defective or the trigger is distorted. Immediately return the gun to Jørgen
