Connect an external audio device
Connect the AC power

Insert the AC adapter’s DC plug into the
unit, then insert one side of AC power
cord into AC adapter and other side into
a wall outlet, and your system is at your
command!
Caution:
Be sure to unplug the power cord from
the outlet when going away or when the
system is not in use for an extended
period of time.
When you first connect the unit to the DC
Jack, the unit will be in standby mode.
- Press the standby button to switch
the unit on. The word “HELLO” will
show in the display.
- Press the standby button again to
switch the unit back to standby mode.
The words “BYE BYE”will scroll across
the display.
Note:
Before attaching a 75 ohm coaxial lead
(the kind with a round wire going to an out-
side antenna), disconnect the supplied FM
wire antenna.
Caution:
To avoid noise, keep antennas away from
the system, the connecting cord and the
AC power cord.
Connect audio cables to the AUX-IN(L and
R) sockets on the back of the unit and the
audio output sockets on the external audio
device.
Insert the USB storage device.
2. If reception is poor, connect the outside
antenna.
