ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
The following operations must be done in order to avoid damages to
the mechanical
components bearing
the
heavier
work
load
and
to
keep
your
water pressure
cleaner
performances
efficient.
1)
Important ! When the machine is new, the pump/motor set must be run
in
for
a
short
period.
This
running
in
consists
of using
the machine
for
no
more
than
1
hour
and
to
wait
for 1
hour
for its
cooling;
this operation has to be done 4 or 5 times.
2)
Check the pump and gear box oil level periodically, it must always be
higher
than
the
rod
notch.
Change the
pump
oil
after
the
first
25
working
hours,
then
every
300
hours.
Use
mineral
base
ISO
6743/4
(DIN
51524) hydraulic
oil
only,
with
ISO
VG150
viscosity
according
to
ISO
3448
(DIN
51519)
standards.
3)
Do not leave the machine at very low
temperatures.
The
frost
can
damage
the
pump
and
the
circuits.
In
case
of
long
stay
at
temperatures
lower
than
0
C
the
operator must
empty the circuits and make
the pump run for some minutes
with antifreeze liquid reaching the
pump through the water suction hose.
Whereas, too high temperature can
cause the motor overheating when the
machine is working.
4)
Do not suck corrosive liquids (paints, acids, solvents, very dense
liquids)
as
they
could
p permanently
damage
the
pump.
After
the
use
of
detergents
or
other
liquids,
always
suck
clean
water
to
avoid deposits
and
scales.
5)
Check and clean the water filter on the
pressure
cleaner
at
least
once
a
month.
6)
Park the machine on flat
floor.
When not used, the machine must be stored in places
protected from the atmospheric agents.
