Possible cause Remedy
The pin at the baling pressure
indicator does not move out
completely.
„
Blow off any dirt from the housing.
„ Ensure smooth running of the pin at the baling pressure
indicator.
The baling pressure indicators
are not set correctly. „ Correctly set the baling pressure indicator, refer to
page 122 .
Disturbance: The round bale does not roll or rolls just slowly out of the bale chamber.
Possible cause Remedy
The sides are filled excess-
ively. „ Produce narrower swaths, refer to page 56 .
„
Do not drive too far on the side.
The baling pressure is too
high. „ To reduce the baling pressure, refer to page 81 .
Disturbance: The tailgate cannot be closed completely.
Possible cause Remedy
The hydraulic cylinder is
leaky. „ Seal the hydraulic cylinder or have it replaced by a KRONE
service partner.
Malfunction: The round bale is conically shaped.
Possible cause Remedy
The bale chamber is filled on
one side.
„
Fill the bale chamber evenly, refer to page 56 .
The tractor with machine was
driven too quickly at the end
of the baling process.
„
Slow down at the end of the baling process.
Net wrapping: The number of
net layers is too low.
„
Increase the number of net layers, refer to page 80 .
The wrapping and tying ma-
terial is torn. „
Only use wrapping and tying material in the specified
quality. KRONE recommends using one of the "KRONE
excellent" products.
Disturbance: The diameters on the left-hand and right-hand side of the round bale differ.
Possible cause Remedy
The distance between the roll
pin in the locking lever and
lock hook is too large.
„
Correct the setting at the locking lever, refer to page 121 .
The hydraulic cylinder at the
tailgate locking is defective.
„
Have the hydraulic cylinder replaced by a KRONE service
partner.
Disturbance: The round bale has a barrel shape. This causes the wrapping and tying material
to tear in the centre.
Possible cause Remedy
The bale chamber is filled un-
evenly.
„
Drive over the swath on alternate sides, refer to page 56 .
The number of wrapping and
tying material layers is too
small.
„
Increase number of layers.
Twine tying:
refer to page 79 .
Net wrapping: refer to page 80 .
The wrapping material brake
is set too tight.
„
Set the wrapping material brake, refer to page 84 .
