KITCHEN HOODS
The filter is installed in the reverse order. Press the
spring lock on the filter and put it in place, after
which release the lock.
Replacement of light bulbs
Lighting on the kitchen hood is provided by two
halogen bulbs. To replace the light bulbs, remove
the aluminum grease trap filter, press the socket
holder slightly down until the bulb gets out of the
kitchen hood case; while keeping the holder in
place, insert the bulb into the socket and remove
it by turning anticlockwise (Fig. B).
Replace the non-functioning bulb with a function-
ing one with the same characteristics.
After the bulbs have been replaced, re-install the
aluminum grease trap filter.
Caution!
The bulbs are very hot. To avoid burns, replace
the bulbs only when the kitchen hood is
switched off.
Caution!
The kitchen hood light bulbs are not for long-
term use as kitchen lighting. Long-term work
of light bulbs may result in early breakdown of
the bulbs and the kitchen hood.
Replacement of bulbs and filters is not in-
cluded in the warranty service.
WALL-MOUNTING INSTALLATION
The installment and electrical connection must
be made only by a certified technician.
You must not start the mounting or remove the
protective film of the stainless steel cooker hood
unless you check the technical serviceability by
connecting it to the mains and checking all the
functions.
For this purpose you should open the package,
take out the cooker hood and place it on the flat
surface so that the control panel faces the person
in charge of testing. Then the cooker hood is to be
connected to the mains and the checking process
is performed.
If the cooker hood operates correctly in all the
modes, you should proceed to the mounting. If the
operation is not correct, you should contact the re-
tailer or the warranty service center.
The protective film should be removed from the
stainless steel cooker hoods only after the fin-
ished mounting process.
Please take into consideration that the appli-
ance must have a distance of min. 50 cm over
electrical stoves or min. 65 cm over gas stoves.
Before mounting the cooker sure please make
sure that the mounting wall is robust enough.
For mounting of the cooker hood and decorative
chimney panel you should use screws and dowels
matching the type of your kitchen wall (armored
concrete, plasterboard, etc.)
If the screws and dowels are supplied in you
should make sure they match the type of the wall.
The cooker hood mounting should be performed in
the following order:
1. Attach the mounting pattern (in case it is in-
cluded) to the wall at the desired height mind-
ing the minimum distance from the cooking
hob and align it with the builder's level. Mark
the points (A, B, C, D) on the wall and drill the
holes of 8 mm in them. Mark the points (F, E)
and drill the holes of 6 mm for mounting the
panel for decorative chimney wall-mounting
(pic.11). You should take into consideration that
the panel should be mounted so that the upper
end of the decorative chimney attached is im-
mediately adjacent to the ceiling.
2. Place the dowels of 8 mm diameter into the
holes (A, B, C, D) and the dowels of 6 mm di-
ameter into the holes (F, E).
3. Turn two screws into two holes (A, B) so that
the distance between the wall surface and the
head of the screw is 5 mm. Attach the decora-
tive chimney panel by turning the screws into
two upper holes (F, E)
4. Fix the plastic adapter flange (if it is nor ad-
justed yet) on the matching place on top of the
cooker hood with two screws (pic. 14).
