SWITCHING ON / OFF
Switching on
• Press the end of the ON/OFF switch down then slide it forwards.
• The machine will start. Hold the switch.
Switching off
• Release the ON/OFF switch, the machine will be switched OFF.
• The disc will gradually slow down and eventually stop aft er a few seconds.
Do not put the machine down when the disc is sti ll turning.
USE
• Hold the machine fi rmly and move
it against the work piece. Move the
grinding disc evenly across the work
piece.
• Move the machine during roughing
under an angle of 30º - 40º across
the work piece.
• Inspect the grinding disc regularly.
Worn discs have a negati ve eff ect on
effi ciency of the machine. Replace
the grinding disc on ti me.
• Do not put the machine down when the motor is sti ll running. Do not place the ma-
chine on a dusty surface. Dust parti cles may enter the mechanism.
• Always switch off the machine fi rst before removing the plug from the wall socket.
Never use grinding discs for roughing!
Never use the spindle lock to stop the motor.
3. MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
REPLACEMENT
• Only qualifi ed specialist personnel and original replacement parts should be used
for repairs. This will ensure that your device remains safe.
• Damaged switches must be replaced by our aft er-sales service department.
