1. Unplug the iron and allow it to cool down.
2. Pick the water cup and fill it with water 3/4 full. Add 1 teaspoon of salt to the water
and fill the water tank with this solution.
3. Leave the solution in the water tank for 15 minutes, shaking occasionally, and then
empty it.
4. Repeat again the same operation.
5. Fill the tank with fresh water to rinse and empty.
ANTI-DRIP FUNCTION
This system controls the water flow to the soleplate at all times. Below a certain tempera-
ture, the anti-drip function cuts off the flow of water and stops the iron from dripping
onto the fabric.
AUTO-SHUT OFF FUNCTION
The iron will automatically switch off if it is has not been moved for a while, usually 30
seconds in level state, 8 minutes in vertical state.
To indicate that the iron has been switched off, the auto-off indicator light will start blink-
ing.
To heat up the iron again:
1. Pick up the iron or move it slightly.
2. The auto-shut off light will go out. The temperature light will bright.
3. When the temperature light had gone out and comes on again, the irons is ready
for use.
3. MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
AFTER EACH USE
1. Turn the iron off and unplug it.
2. Empty the iron immediately after using. Do not store the iron with water in it.
3. Wait until the iron has cooled before storing it and always set it on its heel rest to
protect the soleplate from scratches, corrosion or stains.
4. After letting iron cool down completely, store the iron vertically in a safe place.
