5 Connecting the VP-481 DVI to 3G HD-SDI

Always switch off the power to each device before connecting it to your
VP-481 . After connecting your VP-481 , connect its power and then
switch on the power to each device.

To connect the VP-481 as illustrated in the example in Figure 3 :
1. Connect the DVI/HDMI source (for example, a multimedia player) to the
DVI/HDMI IN DVI connector.
2. Connect the unbalanced stereo audio source (for example, an audio player)
to the AUDIO INPUTS LEFT and RIGHT RCA connectors.
3. Connect the SDI OUT BNC connectors to the SDI acceptors (for example, a
display and an SDI VTR).
4. Connect the power adapter to the 5V DC power socket and to the mains
electricity (not shown in Figure 3 ).
