10 Communication Protocols

The

VP-128H

is compatible with the Kramer 2000 Protocol Supported

Subset (see section 10.1), the Sierra Video Systems (SVS) RS-232

Compatible Protocol (see section 10.2), and the Generic Protocol Supported

Subset (see section 10.3), as well as with the Ethernet Protocol Document

(see section 10.4).
The following commands (as defined in in Table 12) are used to switch

between ASCII protocols and Protocol 2000:

Kramer 2000 Protocol Supported Subset

This RS-232 communication protocol uses four bytes of information as

defined below. The default data rate is 9600 baud, with no parity, 8 data bits

and 1 stop bit.
