Mounting without the mouthpiece (1100, 1100T)
4. Pipe shortening and its installation
• Shorten the pipe to make its length correspond to the
wall’s thickness. The pipe must be aligned with the wall on
both sides .
• Remove any remnants of material after sawing by means
of a file or sandpaper. Be careful not to leave any sharp
edges.
• Dispose of the rest of the pipe in accordance with the
requirements of environmental protection.
• Put the pipe into the wall passage and be careful to keep
the central partition of the pipe in horizontal position.
• Caulk any free space between the pipe and the wall with
permanently elastic caulking material both on exterior and
interior sides .
Note:
When you use the 895 mm pipe, you only may
shorten it on the side where the central partition is indented
backwards!
5. Mounting the exterior cover
• Use the caulking gun to apply permanently elastic sealant
on the outer edge of the pipe.
• Make sure the slats of the cover grid are situated face
down .
• Push the cover grid firmly against the pipe whilst two of its
clips must be fitted above the central partition of the pipe
and one clip under it .
• Seal any empty spots between the pipe and the wall with
permanently elastic sealant .
6. Screws
• Screw the three fixing screws into the dowel,
leaving the
last 8 mm
peeping out of it (i.e. not screwed in entirely).
