NOTE : EMERGENCY DRAIN IN EXTREME TEMPERATURES

Drain or evaporate the condensate?

FACT:

condensate evaporators use a lot of costly energy and add heat

to the system that can shorten the life of cooling units.

Another important issue is the development of harmful spores

and a requirement for time consuming and expensive cleaning

     and maintenance.

SOLUTIONS:

Koolspace units are designed with multi stage systems;

Internal evaporation using the natural heat of the unit.

Externally the unit is equipped with a pan containing an over

flow sensor and the ability to drain under extreme

temperature and humidity conditions into a larger container

using a 1/2” O.D. hose (for models 100-300) or the supplied

     hose (for models 600-900).

NOTE:

If unit is operated according to specifications overflows will not occur.

Excess condensation is caused by extreme conditions. Unit will shut off at

72°F and will restart when temperature drops or unit is re-plugged (wait 5

seconds after pulling out plug then re plug).

Empty drain pan before re-

plugging.

If Drain Pan fills frequently do the following:

Remove Drain pan and insert a hose into drain hole and cut to length. Place

drain hose into a large container.

IMPORTANT NOTE :

When leaving the house for an extended period of time do the above to

insure your wine. Make sure the DOOR is CLOSED and ROOM is totally

SEALED from any air leakage.

 DRAIN PAN MAINTENANCE

Remove  Drain  Pan  by  inserting  fingers

into half moon cutouts on bottom of pan

and press in center front edge to release

Front Tab.

1

Dump out condensation water

Inspect  sensor  FLOAT  SHAFT  and  FLOAT

for  residue  that  may  limit  the  float

movement.

Remove float button and float from drain

pan, if components need to be cleaned.

Use a brush or rag to remove water de-
posits from the parts.

2

Place back float and float

button onto drain pan.

Re-attach drain pan
