Danger of Life!
The PROGDISC serves only for configurating
KONTRONIK
ESCs.
ESCs
by
other
manufacturers cannot be configurated via the
PROGDISC.
The PROGDISC does not substitute an ESC.
Operation of a model with the PROGDISC is not
allowed.
Operation of the PROGDISC is only allowed in
situations in which no harm to others can occur.
The ESC can only be used in environments in
which no discharge of static electricity occurs.
Under no circumstances the PROGDISC should
be opened or modified.
Do not throw the PROGDISC into open fire.
While connecting the ESC to a battery pack en-
sure the correct polarity of the connection!
3.
Compatibility
The PROGDISC allows the configuration of
KONTRONIK ESCs which are either PROGCARD I
or PROGCARD II compatibel or online updateable.
To swich between Card Modes the ESC
needs to be disconnected from the battery
and the PROGDISC. After connecting and
starting again you can proceed with
programming the respective mode.
4.
Connecting the PROGDISC to an ESC
Connect the PROGDISC to the KONTRONIK ESC
via the ESC cable (2). JIVE ESCs are connected
via the master sleeve.
Note, that the ESC has to be connected to a
charged battery. Without connection to a
charged battery no adjustments to the ESC can
be made.
For ESCs without BEC a seperate four cell NiCd
battery has to be connected to the PROGDISC or
the receiver.
5.
Navigation
The PROGDISC is navigated via canting. To arrive
at the next menu item, the PROGDISC has to be
canted with ist upper end into direction of the user.
The previous menu item can be reached by
cantinng the lower end of the PROGDISC into
direction of the user.
Canting to the left, i.e. lifting the right side upwards
directs to the superior menu item without having
made adjustments. Canting to the right, i.e. lifting
the left side upwards corresponds to enter and
parallels using the confirmation button.
To ease the navigation of the PROGDISC there are
navigation blocks on the right and lower side of the
display. These blocks indicate the position of the
PROGDISC relatively to its neutral point. Individual
menu items become changeable as soon as the
white navigation block turns red. In neutral position
both blocks are white and in the center of their
respective line.
The PROGDISC features 3 navigation options:
1. Button Controlled. The next menu item
can be reached by tilting the PROGDISC
into the correct direction and pushing the
button as soon as the naviagtion block turns
