B.4 Exposure to Radio Frequency Energy
The Kontron OPS-compliant media player and DSEK-12 contain radio transmitters and receivers. When on, the
System sends and receives radio frequency (RF) energy through its antenna. The Wi-Fi antenna is located attached
to the system. The Kontron OPS-compliant media player KOPS800 has been tested and meets the RF exposure
requirements for Wi-Fi operation. For optimal mobile device performance and so that human exposure to RF energy
does not exceed the FCC, IC, and European Union guidelines, always follow these instructions and precautions:
Orient the device with the cellular antenna (located In either side of the device away from your body or other objects.
You can further limit your exposure to RF by limiting the amount of time using the OPS-compliant media player
KOPS800, since time is a factor in how much exposure a person receives, and by placing more distance between
your body and the OPS-compliant media player KOPS800 since exposure level drops off dramatically with distance.
