7 Battery Information (BT3, J238)
The ETXexpress UGM Baseboard includes a standard CR2032 3V RTC battery. To reset the modules RTC
power off the module and short pin 1-2 of jumper 238.
The reset of the RTC power will not cause a CMOS clear, because the BIOS setting of all Kontron boards
are backed up in an onboard EEPROM.

CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or
equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer. Dispose of used batteries according to
the manufacturer’s instructions.
