4.2.4.
Power Consumption of PMC Modules
A maximum power of 7.5 W is available on the PMC slot. This is in accordance with the draft standard P1386/Draft
2.4a. The maximum power of 7.5 W can be arbitrarily divided on the 3.3 V and 5 V voltage lines.
The following table indicates the current of a PMC module.

4.2.5.
Power Consumption of XMC Modules
A maximum power of 20 W is available on the XMC slot and it can be arbitrarily divided on the 3.3 V and 5 V (VPWR)
voltage lines. XMC modules are based on 3.3 V power along with variable power (VPWR) defined as either 5 V or 12 V
in the ANSI/VITA 42.0-200x XMC Switched Mezzanine Card Auxiliary Standard specification. On the CP6006(X)-SA, the
VPWR is configured to 5 V.
The following table indicates the current of an XMC module.

XMC integrators should carefully review the power ratings, cooling capacity and airflow
requirements in the application prior to installation of an XMC module on the CP6006(X)-SA.
