Operation
Operation
Before getting started:
• Read the chapter “Safety” from
page EN-2.
• Unpack the product as described in chap-
ter “Check the delivery” on page EN-5.
• Assemble the awning as described in
chapter “Operation” from page EN-8.
• Regularly check that the stanchions and
the screw connections are secure. Ten-
sion and retighten if necessary (see chap-
ter “Awning frame” from page EN-6).
• Hold the upper and lower handles of the
hand crank tightly and turn them
– clockwise to open the awning (
Fig. 20
)
– anticlockwise to retract the awning
(
Fig. 20
).
Care and storage
Before getting started:
• Read the chapter “Safety” from
page EN-2.
Cleaning
Clean your product regularly, at least once a
year, to prolong the life of your product.
• Clean the awning frame by using warm
water and detergent and a cloth or a soft
brush and dry it thoroughly.
• Clean the awning canopy by using a soft
brush and warm water if necessary.
• Allow the awning canopy to dry in its ex-
tended position.
Storage
We recommend that you place the awning in
a dry place when it rains and in autumn and
winter to keep it in the best possible condition.
• Dismantle the awning when it is com-
pletely dry by proceeding in the reverse
order to the assembly.
• Store all parts of your product in a dry and
well-ventilated room. All parts of the awn-
ing must be completely dry for storage.
