INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Prior to installation
Carefully unpack and release the fasteners. Two persons are needed to handle the product.
Remove the hardware and keep it in a safe place, so nothing is lost.
Be careful of any parts that may unfold suddenly, especially the folding arms.
Read the assembly instructions carefully before installation.
Check for any missing components and damaged parts. Do not install the product, if any parts are
missing or damaged, but return it to the store to have it replaced.
Never modify the construction or the design of the awning. Failure to follow the instructions can lead
to personal injury or death.
The awning can be installed by laypersons, provided that the instructions are followed correctly.
Make sure the wall is strong enough and suitable for supporting the awning. We cannot assume any
responsibility for damage to the building or the awning caused due to the fact that the wall is too
weak to support the awning.
Distance between the wall brackets
(X represents the distance between the two arm shoulders of the awning)
Installation height of the wall brackets
As shown In the figure, we recommend that the awning surface is
adjusted to form an angle of about 80 degrees with the wall when
it is open.
Use the following formula to determine the installation height (C)
of the wall brackets
A is the preferred height of the front profile
H is the maximum projection length of the awning (H). This is indi-
cated in the specifications of the awning.
0.17 is the adjustment figure at our recommended angle of 80°. (If
you prefer using the awning with a smaller inclination angle, you
can replace the figure with 0.5 for an angle of 60° or with 0.71 for
the maximum inclination angle of 45°.)
