10 Obtaining Counter Information by E-Mail and Viewing It

10.1 Configuring E-Mail Transmission and

Reception Settings for Devices
(This procedure is performed from the
device.)

In order for the device to send and receive e-mail messages, certain
settings must be specified. The procedure for specifying the settings
differs depending on the device. For details on the setting procedure, go
to http://www.pagescope.com.

Main parameters

•

SMTP Server IP Address

Type in the host name or IP address for the
SMTP server.

•

POP3 Server IP Address

Type in the IP address of the POP3 server.

•

POP3 Server Login User Name

Type in the user name for logging into the
POP3 server.

•

POP3 Server Login Password

Type in the user password for logging into the
POP3 server.

•

Device E-Mail Address

Type in the e-mail address of the device.
(Normally, the device e-mail address is in the
form “POP3_server_login_user_name@dom
ain_name”.)
