Replacing the Toner Cartridge

A new toner cartridge is designed to print approx. 8300 pages of the ITU-
T Test Document 1 (3.6% black density). The toner cartridge included
prints approx. 4100 pages of the ITU-T Test Document 1 (3.6% black den-
sity). If the toner cartridge is exhausted, the message "Toner Empty" ap-
pears on the display.

Remove the toner cartridge from the machine, shake it well and reinstall
it. If the "Toner Empty" message appears again, follow the procedure de-
scribed below.

Open the top cover pressing the two
release buttons and pull the green
handle of the toner cartridge to re-
move it from the machine.

Unpack the new toner cartridge.
Hold it in both hands and shake it to
spread the toner inside the cartridge
evenly.

3

Insert the cartridge along the guides
into the machine. Push on the car-
tridge to lock it into its position.

4

Close the top cover until it lock into
position.
