Connecting the Power Cable and the Telephone
Line Cable

Plug the power cable into socket on
the left of the machine. Then con-
nect it to the wall socket. Mind the
safety notes in chapter 1

Plug the end of the telephone cord
into the terminal of the machine

Plug the wall end of the telephone cable into the wall socket.

Connecting the Interface Cables

The RS-232C serial interface cable is available as an optional accessory.
Plug the interface cable into the appropriate terminal on the back of the
machine. Further information is provided in the "Connecting the fax to your
computer" chapter.
