This section describes the indicators to be displayed when a specific process is required, and provides in-
structions on how to perform the process.

3.1

Replenishing Staple Supply

Saddle Stitcher SD-513

is equipped with a

stapler

This section describes indications on the screen to inform you that the staple supply is due, and also instruc-
tions on how to replenish it.

3.1.1

Replenishing Staple Supply in Saddle Stitcher SD-513

When the staple cartridge of

Saddle Stitcher SD-513

becomes empty, the following message will appear in

the message area of the screen.

[Please add staples to the saddle stitcher stapler]

Also, the message [Staple Cartridge Supply] appears and its indicator lights in red in the Supply/Scrap Parts
area of the Machine Screen.

Follow the procedure below to add staples to the specified

stapler

NOTICE

Hold both left and right sides of the staple cartridge, then draw it forward.

Check that the top side of the staple cartridge is up. With the top side down, the staple cartridge cannot be
inserted.

Press [

] at the upper-right corner of the Machine Screen, or press [Help] on the

control panel

A help message for the Machine Screen will be displayed at the top of the screen.
