XVIII. Setting the CSRC
Note:
This step may not be performed depending on the
applicable marketing area.
<When using the phone line modem>
1. Register the Device ID to the application at CS
Remote Care Center. When the Device ID is not
registered, initial connection will not be per-
formed.
2. Turn modem power OFF. Connect the machine
and the modem with the modem cable, and the
modem and the wall jack with the modular cable.
3. Display the Tech. Rep. Mode screen.
(See the Service Manual for how to display the
screen.)
4. Touch “CS Remote Care.”
5. Touch “ID Code.”
6. Enter the seven-digit ID using the ten-key pad,
and touch “ID Code” again.
7. Touch “Detail Setting.”
8. Touch “RAM Clear.”
9. Touch “YES.”
10.Touch “END.”
11.“CS Remote Care”
→
Select “Modem.”
12. Touch “ID Code.”
13.Enter the seven-digit ID using the ten-key pad,
and touch “ID Code” again.
