2.3.1

Paper Feed Mechanism

• The Paper Lifting Plate is raised to press the paper stack on the tray up against the Feed

Roller.

• The Paper Lifting Plate is raised and lowered in time with a paper feed sequence.
• The ascent and descent motion of the Paper Lifting Plate is accomplished when the drive

from the motor is transmitted to the cam through a solenoid to rotate the cam.
