Installing the wireless

access point and tablet

By default, the tablet connects to the DATSS Processor Unit through an Ethernet wireless
access point. A wireless Bluetooth connection is available as a backup option if you are
experiencing problems with the wireless access point.

Prerequisites

• You must have an existing DATSS system with a computer Processor Unit.

• Your DATSS Processor Unit must have a free Ethernet port (you can also use an

Ethernet switch).

Context

The provided wireless access point allows the tablet to connect via Wi-Fi to the same
local area network as your DATSS Processor Unit.
