The M3 Sonar API is enabled through the Windows command prompt. For imaging
applications where low CPU usage is required, you can disable the Display Manager
with a command-prompt switch.
To start the M3 Sonar API automatically when your computer boots up, you can create a
batch file containing the command-prompt text suitable for your application. If you have
more than one Sonar Head, it is possible to run multiple instances of the M3 Sonar API.
IMB data is streamed automatically every time your TCP client connects to the IMB
port of the M3 Sonar API. You can also stream ALL data by issuing API commands to
start and stop the data export. ALL data can be exported to third-party software, such as
Hypack.
