Installing the VadaTech CP219 Ethernet switch

If a VadaTech CP219 Ethernet switch fails to operate, it must be replaced with a new
switch. All replacement tasks must be done according to the specified procedures, and
you must follow the relevant safety instructions.

Prerequisites

A new circuit board must be available.

You must be equipped with a standard set of tools. This tool set must comprise the
normal tools for electromechanical tasks. This includes different screwdriver types,
pliers, adjustable spanners, etc. Each tool must be provided in various sizes. We
recommend that all tools are demagnetized to protect your equipment.

Procedure

1

Make sure that all AC mains power has been disconnected.

2

Grab the handle and push the circuit board straight in.

3

Push the handle to the left.

4

Tighten the screws.

(A)

5

Connect the cables.

6

Connect AC mains power.

Further requirements

Once the circuit board has been installed, follow the normal procedure to turn on the
EM 712.
