4.4 TRANSPORTING THE PATIENT
The stretcher, with provided handles, is suitable for “shoulder” transporting the patient
(figures 22, 23 and 24). Furthermore, it is used with the following optional components:
a) 871.50 HANDLES and 871.51 GRIPS (figures 11 and 12),
b) 871.00 ORION, 871.01 GEMINI and 871.04 EVOLUTION hanging kits (figures 2, 3 and 4),
c) 871.02 VIRGO belt (figure 5),
other methods of transportation can be applied, lift it and lower it, as indicated in the
specific user instructions.
a) Holding the automatic peg (O) pulled, insert the provided handles into the relative seats
of the head elements,
b) release the automatic pin, check whether it is well-fitted in the slot of the handle and
locks the connection.
