Removing/replacing the spacer
To replace it, place the spacer •

on the cutting head and press it
fi rmly.
To remove it, pull the spacer

downwards.
To protect the shaver area •

you should, if you are not using the ap-
pliance, remove the spacer

and, in replacement, fi t the protective
cap on the shaver area

. Ensure that the elevations on the inner edge
of the protective cap do not grip into the grooves on the edge of the
shaver area

. Otherwise, the protective cap will not hold.
Cleaning and care
Emptying the catchment container
Pull the catchment container •

off straight to the rear.
Empty out the textile remains. •
Replace the catchment container •

so that it is seated fi rmly.
