4.9 Service procedure

Maintenance

Every 2000 hours service

20. Next, operate the steering, bucket, and lift arm cylinders fully

3 - 4 times, then stop the engine and loosen air bleed plug
(16). After bleeding the air from the hydraulic tank, tighten
plug (16).

Run the engine at low idling when bleeding the air.

21. Check the hydraulic oil level and add oil to the specified

level.

For details, see "Check oil level in hydraulic tank, add oil
(4-56)".

22. Next, increase the engine speed and repeat the procedure in

Step 19 to bleed the air. Continue this operation until no
more air comes out from plug (15).

23. After completing the air bleed operation, tighten plug (16).

Tightening torque: 11.3 ± 1.5 Nm

24. Check the hydraulic oil level and add oil to the specified

level.

25. Check that there is no leakage of oil from the filter cover

mount.
