When required

WA470-6H – VEAM946100

Clean fins with compressed air

When cleaning the fins, insert a steam spray nozzle through the
gaps between the radiator (1), oil cooler (2), and the aftercooler
and condenser (3) of air conditioner.

NOTE

If the steam jet nozzle is brought too close to the radiator fins, it
may damage the fins, so keep the nozzle a suitable distance
away from the fins when cleaning.

Work under the following rough conditions.

!

Injection pressure: Max. 9.8 MPa

!

Nozzle diameter: Max. 2 mm

!

Distance between nozzle and radiator fins: Min. 100 mm

Examine the rubber hoses, and if any hose is cracked or deterio-
rated, replace it. Check also that there are no loose hose
clamps.

Do as follows to blow out the mud or dirt that has fallen to the
bottom.

1. Loosen wing bolts (4), use hook (5) to slide cleaning covers

(6), and open the left and right covers.

2. Insert the air nozzle and blow the dirt out to the front of the

machine.

REMARK

Steam or water can be used instead of compressed air.

3. After blowing out the dirt, install left and right cleaning covers

(6).
