Mount Installation:

 

1.

 

Shift vehicle transmission into         
NUETRAL or apply the vehicle      
PARKING BRAKE. Turn ignition key to 
OFF position and remove from ignition 
switch. Disconnect black negative (

-

cable from battery.

 

2.

 

Carefully slide the winch mount plate 
(item #1) up behind headlights of ATV. 
Set the mount plate on the two main 
frame tubes as shown. Secure and   
fasten the mount plate to frame using  
four u

-

bolts (item #3) and locknuts (item 

#4). (See illustration 1

-

3.

 

Attach the roller fairlead mount plate 
(item #2) to the vertical front bumper 
tubes, just above the front brush guard 
with two u

-

bolts (item #4). Fasten u

-

bolt 

threads with flat washer (item #5) and locknuts (item #4) as 
shown. (See illustration 1

-

4.

 

Using the hardware supplied with the winch kit, mount the winch 
assembly onto the winch mount plate (item #1). The roller     
fairlead adapter plate supplied with the winch kit will not be used 
in this application. 

 

5.

 

Tighten M8 fasteners to specification.

 

6.

 

Feed the winch cable end thru the mount 
plate (item #2) and then thru the roller fairlead 
(supplied with winch kit). Using fasteners  
supplied with winch kit, attach the roller to the 
mount plate as shown. (See illustration 1

7.

 

Tighten M8 fasteners to specification.

Connect the hook to cable or rope by using        
hardware included in winch kit.

 

 

Winch Wiring and Connections:

Using the winch kit instructions, route and  
connect the electrical cables and components 
for the winch system.

 

10.

 

Secure all harnesses using cable ties (provided with winch kit) to 
prevent contact with hot components, sharp edges or moving 
parts.

 

11.

 

Reconnect black negative (

-

) cable to battery.
