Section 4 Scheduled Maintenance
Service Schedule
Reference
Daily or Before Each Use
Check oil level and add oil if necessary.
See Section 4.3
Check coolant level and add coolant if necessary.

Check for fluid leaks.
Check battery connections for tightness and signs of corrosion.
See Section 4.8
Check for fuel leaks, hissing, or gas odors.
Weekly
Check main tank supply level (LPG fuel).
Check for and remove obstructions or combustible materials near exhaust outlet.

Check for and remove obstructions near air intake.
Check AC electrical system for visible wear or damage.
Exercise the generator set.
See Sections 2.3 and 2.5
Check for evidence of vibration, leakage, deterioration, unusual or excessive noise or temperature.
Monthly
Check battery charger operation, charge rate.
Quarterly (3 Months)
Remote control system, if equipped.
Check fuel lines and connections.
Check engine and generator for visible wear or damage.
Check interior of sound enclosure.
Every 6 Months
Check for wire abrasions where subject to motion.
Yearly
Inspect fuel piping.
Check and clean the radiator exterior.
Remove corrosion, clean and dry battery and rack.

Clean and tighten battery terminals and inspect boots.

Check battery electrolyte level and specific gravity. *

Tighten control and power wiring connections.
Check the DEPR fuel pressure.

Check the drive belt for cracks, splitting, or breaks.

Change engine oil and replace oil filter.

Change the engine coolant.
