Probable Cause Recommended Action
1. Rain panel
does not light.
A. No power to PDS. A. Turn off the power to
the PDS and remove
the access cover. If
the LED light is not
lit, the circuit breaker
may have been
tripped. Reset the
circuit breaker. If the
LED light is still not
lit, check hardwire
connections.
B.
No power to
media module
(status LED is off).

Verify media module
is plugged in. Check
power to the outlet.
C.
Cable connections
to media module
are loose or
damaged.

Check cables and
connections, replace
cables if necessary.
D.
PDS fuse is blown.
D.
Replace the fuse.
E. Media module is
not assigning an
address to the PDS.

Authorized Service

F. PDS does not
work.

2. Cannot remove
cables from
PDS box.
A. Cables are twisting
when unthreading
strain relief
connections.
A. Unthread strain relief
cap only and
separate rubber
stopper from body.
Body will be free to
unthread from PDS
box.
