Integral Supply Stop Operation (cont.)
Service the Stops
NOTE: Keep a rag handy to catch excess water that will gradually
drain when stop cartridge is removed.
Turn off both the hot and cold water at the nearest supply
shut-off or water main.
Verify that the water is off before continuing.
For models with a locking bar, loosen the two screws, slide the
locking bar up until it is clear of the stops, and tighten the screws
to keep the locking bar from sliding back down.
Use a 3/8
″
square drive or 10 mm hex wrench to remove the stop
assemblies.
Thread the new stop assemblies into the valve and tighten.
Open the stops using a 3/8
″
square drive or 10 mm hex wrench.
Loosen the screws on the locking bar and slide it down.
Tighten the screws.
Turn on the hot and cold water supplies.
Check for leaks.
