2. Faucet Installation
CAUTION: Risk of product damage.
Do not pinch or kink the
lead wire.
Clean the lavatory surface to remove any grease, oil, or debris.
For wide-escutcheon models:
Screw the posts into the escutcheon
base.
Apply plumbers putty or other sealant around the underside of
the spout according to the putty manufacturer’s instructions.
Insert the faucet lead wire and the spout shank through the
lavatory hole.
From the underside of the lavatory, run the plastic spacer (with
the flat surface towards the lavatory) up the faucet lead wire and
onto the spout shank. Fit the faucet lead wire into one of the
three spacer notches.
NOTE:
Do not run the faucet lead wire through the center of the
washer and the locknut.
NOTE:
Do not allow the faucet to rotate while installing the
attachment hardware.
Slide the fluted washer on behind the spacer. Thread the locknut
onto the spout shank.
Tighten the locknut.
