2-2 Operation
Controller
For identification and location of controller operating
features, refer to the text below and Figure 2-1.
1.
Battery Charging Fuse
protects battery charging
circuitry from short circuits.
2.
Input (Controller) Fuse
protects controller
circuitry from short circuits.
3.
Start/Stop Switch
is used to stop and start
generator set. Rock to start or stop position and
hold to start or stop engine. Switch automatically
returns to neutral center position when released.
4.
Hourmeter
records total generator set operating
hours. Use as a reference to schedule
maintenance.
5.
Remote Start Connector
provides connection
point for optional remote start kits.
6.
Optional AC Circuit Breaker(s)
protects
generator set from short circuits in load. Also used
to disconnect generator set from loads during
maintenance. To close circuit breaker, place in ON
position.
