After using 5-6 times or for 3-5 days, clean the product as outlined below:
1. Unplug the unit from the power supply and remove the cover.
2. Pour out any remaining water out from the "DRAIN SIDE” of the water tank.
3. Add some warm water into the tank and mix with a neutral detergent, then wash
with a cleaning cloth.
4. If dirt is noted in the air outlet, remove the container cover and clean it.
5. Never use acids, enzymes or harsh detergents, as this may present the risk of
poisonous gas being emitted or damage to the product.
Accidental leakage
In the event of the unit being knocked over or tipped during usage, follow the instructions as
below:
1. Unplug the unit and remove the cover.
2. Pour out any remaining water from the water tank.
3. Shake the unit gently to drain any water inside the mechanism and allow it to dry
for at least 24 hours.
Tips:
•
If the appliance is not to be used for an extended period, drain the water from the
tank and dry the unit before storing it.
• The diffuser will automatically shut off when the unit is out of water. The diffuser
will not work without enough water in the tank.
•
The amount and intensity of mist produced will vary, but this is not unusual and
should not be considered as a fault. Factors that affect this include the water type,
humidity, temperature, air currents.
•
It is recommended that the unit is cleaned every time the diffusing oils are
changed. Oils are corrosive and will build upon the atomising plate over time.
