Format Memory
Please note: formatting enables you to
delete all contents in the memory card and
built-in memory, including protected photo
and movie files.
To use this setting:
1. Press the
button, press the up/down
arrow button to select and press the
button to enter the menu.
2. Press up/down arrow button to select
and press the button or right arrow
button to enter the menu.
3. Press the up/down arrow button to select
「
Format
」
and press the button or
right arrow button to enter the menu.
4. Press the up/down arrow buttons to
select
「
Yes
」
or
「
No
」
and press the
button to confirm.

5. If you select
「
Yes
」
the camera formats its
memory.
If there is no memory card in the
camera, the built-in memory will be
formatted; if there is a memory card, it
will be formatted only.
