Monitoring Commands

Table 7-2. Monitoring Commands

Press or Type:

To:

Display the error log. This is the same as the error log that is displayed on the

LOCAL PANEL.

CTRL D

Starts the Debug feature:

•

When a test pattern or Image is printed, monitors the film movement.

•

When a calibration is selected, tracks the film movement and displays

the density of the bands on the film calibration sheet. See 7-1-2-3 for

interpretation.

CTRL E, ENTER

Monitor DICOM commands, if the NETWORK INPUT MODULE is installed.
Press CTRL E, ENTER again to toggle off. See 7-1-3 for options and

interpretation.

Note:

Check that CTRL D (Debug) is toggled off before using this command.

CTRL F

Echo the LOCAL PANEL. Displays whatever is being displayed on the LOCAL

PANEL on the SERVICE COMPUTER.

CTRL P

Starting with Version 4.9, sends all of the set up parameters to the SERVICE

PORT so they can be saved for reference.

CTRL A (or B)

(effective with Version 4.9)

Monitor Host commands and IMAGER responses. CTRL A toggles the

monitoring state for Input A. Outgoing responses to Host Commands are

displayed with A> and incoming Host commands have A<. Retransmitted

IMAGER responses to host commands are displayed as A+> or B+>.

Note:

Check that Debug (CTRL D) is toggled on before using this command.

AtoDon/AtoDoff

Monitor DRUM TEMPERATURE CONTROL. Provides DRUM TEMPERATURE

CONTROL information every second. If there is a change from the expected

temperature stability, the LOCAL PANEL will beep and the temperature

measurement will be displayed on the SERVICE COMPUTER.
Type AtoDoff again to stop monitoring. See 7-1-2-4 for interpretation.

Note:

Check that Debug (CTRL D) is toggled on before using this command.

Interpreting Results of a Film Calibration Captured with Debug (CTRL D)

When Debug is activated during a Film Calibration, the following is sent to the IMAGER SERIAL SERVICE

PORT and displayed on the SERVICE COMPUTER:
